Famille rose enamels on glaze on porcelain; in the form of a squatting boy clutching a double-gourd, the gourd forming the bottle and with a flat lip; the gourd enamelled in yellow its base inscribed in iron-red seal script Qianlong nian zhi (‘Made in the Qianlong period’), the boy with blue, floral trousers and a gilt-decorated, iron-red jacket.
